Terrell Owens was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft and spent his first seven seasons (1996–2003) with the team, becoming one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history and a key member of the franchise. During his time with the 49ers, Owens played alongside his idol, Jerry Rice, set numerous team records, including 592 receptions and 8,572 receiving yards, and had a remarkable three-year span with 290 catches for 4,163 yards and 42 touchdowns from 2000-2002. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
