'Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?' was one of the most beloved American children's game show of the 90s, running from 1991-95. Based on the Carmen Sandiego computer game series, the show featured contestants answering questions to determine the location of one of Carmen Sandiego's henchmen. The contestants are referred to as "gumshoes" throughout the program in reference to private detectives that are just starting out in the field. The program received the George Foster Peabody Award in 1993.
This EXCLUSIVE Pop! features Sandiego, who on the show was heard during a phone tap as she plotted with each episode's crook from her gang. The ultimate goal of the game was to capture her after the day's crook was jailed. She is featured here fading away!
