From homely beginnings in the Shire, The Lord of the Rings ranges across Middle-earth, following the quest to destroy the One Ring inherited by the hobbit, Frodo Baggins. Aiding him are hobbits Sam, Merry and Pippin, the wizard Gandalf, Aragorn and Boromir, the elf Legolas and the dwarf Gimli, who unite as the Fellowship of the Ring in order to rally the free peoples of Middle-earth against Sauron's armies and give Frodo a chance to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom.
On the front, the One Ring shines with metallic details on the bag’s rounded zipper pocket. Turn down the lights to see its Elvish inscription emit a powerful glow! Up above, a red-tinted map of Middle Earth covers the bag’s front and side pockets. Those tempted to turn the bag around will find the Eye of Sauron lurking on the back, and the Ring’s inscription appears again on the shoulder straps.
