From homely beginnings in the Shire, The Lord of the Rings ranges across Middle-earth, following the quest to destroy the One Ring inherited by the hobbit, Frodo Baggins. Aiding him are hobbits Sam, Merry and Pippin, the wizard Gandalf, Aragorn and Boromir, the elf Legolas and the dwarf Gimli, who unite as the Fellowship of the Ring in order to rally the free peoples of Middle-earth against Sauron's armies and give Frodo a chance to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom.
On the front, the One Ring secures the bag’s top flap as a molded metal charm with an engraved inscription. A map of Middle Earth covers the body of the bag with debossed details to outline its landscape, appearing with a red tint on the bottom half of the design.
