The dome-shaped rock, known as the Seeing Stone, is in the ancient ruins of a temple with runes inscribed at the bottom, signifying that if a Force-sensitive being meditates on its top, it will send a beacon of energy to any other Force-sensitive being nearby. As Instructed by the Jedi Ahsoka Tano, Mando has led Grogu to the planet of Tython where the Force is particularly strong and connected to the land, so the Child can envision his path and follow his journey towards becoming a Jedi.
