In Disney’s 1959 film, Princess Aurora is cursed by Maleficent to die on her sixteenth birthday by pricking her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel. Still, the King and Queen fear for their daughter’s life, and task the fairies with protecting Aurora deep in the forest to nullify the curse.

Lenticular details, though, offer an alternate view in which she pricks her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel, thus fulfilling Maleficent’s curse.
