Rebel Moon (2023) - Jimmy 1/10th Scale Statue
Forged in the past as a defender of the king against a galactic empire, the slender metallic figure, crowned with antlers from a hart, contemplatively leans on his staff amidst the wheat fields of the agricultural colony Veldt. Known primarily for its farming, this settlement witnesses the worn-out automaton, draped in a tattered fabric cape, repurposed by the Imperium—a formidable army under the command of Regent Balisarius—for strenuous labour in the fields after centuries of service.
As the Imperium, led by Balisarius, demands Veldt's resources to sustain themselves, a conflict ensues between the peaceful agricultural colony and Balisarius' forces. Sam, a rural girl who forms a deep bond with the robot, triggers a transformation in his mechanical mind, altering his perspective on his own existence. Unveiled at SDCC 2023, Iron Studios introduces the "Jimmy - Rebel Moon - Art Scale 1/10" statue, featuring the regular version of the droid JC-1435, affectionately known as Jimmy.
Under the directorial helm of Zack Snyder, who also pens the screenplay, the film "Rebel Moon Part 1: A Child of Fire" emerges as a futuristic sci-fi adventure saga, set to premiere on Netflix on December 22nd. Voiced by the iconic Anthony Hopkins, the Jimmys were originally designed as combat humanoid sentient robots to serve as the king's guards. While most units were repurposed for manual labour, a few endured in distant galaxies. When a tyrannical force threatens a colony, a mysterious figure becomes the last hope for survival, rallying rebels against an evil galactic empire.
Filmed concurrently with the first part, the direct sequel Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver is slated to release on Netflix on April 19th, 2024. Iron Studios proudly presents a statue, the first in a special, exclusive, and limited edition signed by Zack Snyder, previously sold out at CCXP 2023. Now available in a regular version without the autograph, the statue caters to fans and collectors worldwide.
