The ship's design theme highlights the prominent mechanical feature of the steam engine, which was prevalent during the era of the animated series. The design ingeniously combines the steam engine with Popeye's spinach can launcher, featuring interactive joint movements, such as the ship's exhaust pipes, to complement the overall theme.
Both the external appearance and interior scenes of the product are enriched with a plethora of elements inspired by the Popeye the Sailor Man animation, setting it apart from similar products available on the market.
