Pietro Maximoff and his twin sister Wanda were kidnapped as babies and taken into the mountains of Serbia, where they were subjected to genetic experiments that gave them special powers. Pietro’s powers originally allowed him to move at the speed of sound, but as time went by his superhuman gifts were improved, and today the full extent of his abilities are still unknown. After being rescued by Magneto, Pietro was given the name Quicksilver and joined the Brotherhood of Mutants, but would later seek redemption in The Avengers and the X-Men.
Inspired by his comic book appearance, the limited edition Quicksilver 1/10th Scale Statue has been crafted in hand-painted polystone, capturing the speedster in his classic blue and silver costume and tearing up the ground as he races into action at the speed of sound. The highly detailed statue stands approximately 8.2” tall on a themed base that forms part of the X-Men vs Sentinels Diorama collection, so he can be displayed on his own or along with his mutant brethren.
