Born with albinism, he was an outcast among his people, finding solace only with his brother, Jazal. After Jazal's death, his spark ignited, setting him on a path of vengeance that eventually led him to become a heroic planeswalker, a mentor, and a member of the Gatewatch. He was briefly compleated by New Phyrexia but was restored after its defeat.
