In the Ashes is an action role-playing game played within a book. It uses an innovative mechanic in which adventurers, fight, choose paths, and find equipment. Combat dice are determined by flipping the book pages, and you mark the outcomes on later pages to tell you what happens when you arrive. It’s much more than just a book or a game!
