Mike Dirnt is the bassist, backing vocalist, and co-founder of the punk rock band Green Day. Known for his melodic basslines and Fender Precision bass, he formed the band with Billie Joe Armstrong in 1986. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
