Before the events of Flashpoint, Jean-Paul Valley’s world was turned upside down the day he found his father dying in the robes of Azrael. But his brutal methods and battle-ready armour made him a more aggressive, unbalanced version of the Dark Knight. Once Bruce recovered, Jean-Paul gave up the cowl and began forging his own path as Azrael.
