"Bloodsport" (1988) is a martial arts film inspired by the supposed true story of Frank Dux, a U.S. Army Captain who participates in a clandestine martial arts tournament called the Kumite in Hong Kong. Jean-Claude Van Damme stars as Frank Dux, showcasing his martial arts skills as he navigates the dangerous world of underground fighting and tries to evade military authorities. The film was a breakout role for Van Damme and has become a cult classic.
The first releases in the new IconX figure line pay tribute to two martial arts movie legends: Frank Dux and Chong Li, from the cult film Bloodsport.
